Pre-Orientation Checklist- Complete by June 1
Apply for your OneCard
so that it will be available for pickup when you attend Orientation. Failure to meet the deadline may lead to a delay in receiving your OneCard.
Register for New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation will be held this summer for freshmen starting TU in fall 2024. Don't forget to register your family member or guest for Family Orientation. Register for New Student Orientation (login) At New Student Orientation, you'll meet fellow incoming students and learn about your course schedule, academic standards, living on/off campus and what it means to be a part of the TU community. If you have questions, please email New Student and Family Programs at newstudentprograms@towson.edu.
FTP students starting at TU in the Fall 2025 semester can attend orientation on select dates during weeks of June 23, July 7, and July 14. Don't forget to register your family member or guest for Family Orientation.

Complete your pre-orientation module
Complete your pre-orientation module no later than 48 hours prior to orientation.
- Students: From your admissions dashboard, use your NetID and password to login to the student portal to ensure your participation is recorded.
- Guests: Use the , not your student's login, to participate in the pre-orientation module. Signing
up is easy and free.
Pay your FTP bill by August 1.
All FTP charges, including tuition, fees, housing and meal plan (if applicable), are paid to CCBC. You will receive weekly communications from CCBC, sent to your TU email address, starting in mid-July to alert you when your FTP bill is ready. Updates are available via your myCCBC SIMON account. Your bill is due in early August. Your registration will be canceled for non-payment if not received in full and if financial aid is not confirmed by the due date.

Are all new students required to attend Orientation?
Yes, all incoming students are required to attend Orientation. If you have questions, email New Student and Family Programs at newstudentprograms AT_TOWSON.
What is the charge to attend Orientation?
A fee up to $175, charged to your bill, covers all Welcome to TU programs, orientation materials (including a bag, planner, new student guide, lanyard and T-shirt) and student staffing for all programs.
How can I get involved on campus as an FTP student?
As an FTP student, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved. You can join student organizations, work on campus and attend campus events.
FTP students cannot be involved in the following: intercollegiate athletics, club sports, fraternity and sorority life, LeaderShape and Army ROTC.
