At New Student Orientation, you'll meet fellow incoming students and learn about your course schedule, academic standards, living on/off campus and what it means to be a part of the TU community.

Orientation for freshman students will be held on on January 24, 2025.

• Register for placement testing as soon as possible after returning your enrollment contract and before submitting your Academic Interest Form
• Complete your Academic Interest Form so your adviser can create your schedule of classes 

Complete no later than 48 hours prior to orientation.

• Students: use your NetID and password to to ensure your participation is recorded.

Complete your immunization requirements and upload your health insurance card. 

Learn about payments, e-rebates and refunds, and your 1098-T consent.

Visit your Towson Online Services 
to accept your financial aid, see your schedule, check your immunization status, and more.

A fee up to $175, charged to your bill, covers all Welcome to TU programs, orientation materials, and student staffing for all programs. This fee applies to in-person and virtual orientation. See information on the fee policy here.
