Carnerro, Nicole - Co-Chair
Hi! My name is Nicole Carnero and I am from Prince George’s County, Maryland. I am from Peru and a first-generation Senior in the Honors College studying Sociology-Anthropology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a minor in Human Rights & History. I am the Co-Chair of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council and have been in the council since I was a freshman. In addition to my role in DSAC, I am the Tiger Stripes Coordinator for the Criminal Justice Student Association while being a consistent member of ALPFA. Outside of academics, I enjoy watching movies, arts & crafts, and hanging out with my friends. With my role in the Council, I hope to make CLA students into a tighter community with more engagement from the Council to hear from students. I want to put in my best efforts to be familiar with different departments and concerns students may have about CLA. Anyone is welcome to approach me to talk about the Criminal Justice department or the CLA as a whole. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, ideas, or suggestions regarding DSAC. I can be contacted at ncarne2 AT_STUDENTS_TOWSON and please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Thank you for reading and I hope everyone has a successful academic year!
Donovan, Dorian
Hackerman, Bethany
Hi my name is Bethany Hackerman. I am from Baltimore County, Maryland. I am a Senior Psychology major with a double minor in Family studies and Jewish studies. You may see me around campus as I work at the Writing Center and as a CCA at 10 west. Feel free to reach out to me at bhacke3 AT_STUDENTS_TOWSON with any questions, concerns, or if you just want to chat!
Huls, Aspen - Co-Chair
Hey! My name is Aspen Huls and I am a Junior double majoring in Religious Studies and History, and minoring in Museum Studies. In addition to serving as a Co-Chair for the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and participant in Phi Alpha Theta. I want to utilize my time here to represent student voices and advocate for change that the CLA community asks for. I am happy to talk to you about my experience in either History or Religious Studies, and in CLA as a whole. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, ideas or suggestions regarding DSAC. I can be contacted at ahuls1 AT_STUDENTS_TOWSON. Hope you have a great school year!
Joglar, Julian
Good day to all of you! My name is Julian Joglar and I am a sophomore in the Honors College pursuing a double major in Psychology and Spanish. I am originally from Harford County (specifically Abingdon :D), although I am a military brat, so I am from many places such as Germany! In my free time, I enjoy cooking traditional Puerto Rican meals, playing video games with friends, reading a light novel, or simply just relaxing after a long day. In addition to serving on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, I am heavily involved in Pasión, the Latin dance team here on campus, as I am the co-fundraising chair. As a DSAC member, I aspire to bring people closer together with more awareness of the unique differences and perspectives we all bring. With a love of psychology and people, I want to spread more awareness around mental health along with how various past experiences and cultural backgrounds shape who we are. It is my goal to work with and understand anyone who has a concern in order to build a stronger and more close-knit community here in CLA. I am more than happy to talk to you about my experience in both the Psychology and Spanish departments, as well as CLA as a whole, so please do not feel that if you are not in either department that I would not want to help! If you have any questions, ideas, suggestions, or concerns in relation to DSAC, please feel free to reach out to me at jjoglar1 AT_STUDENTS_TOWSON. Although until then, I wish for all to have a lovely and enriching year!

As a member of the Council, I hope to connect with others at the university, foster a diverse sense of community, and bring to light new student experiences and perspectives. I am happy to talk to you about my experience in the Religious Studies department and CLA as a whole. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, ideas or suggestions regarding DSAC.
