Mass Communication Minor

Students minoring in mass communication must complete 24 units of MCOM courses with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher in each course, including:

MCOM 101 Introduction to Mass Communication (3 units)

MCOM 210 Introduction to Media Writing (3 units)

6 units of 200-level courses

12 units of upper-level courses
No specific courses or blocks of courses are stipulated for the minor; each student designs a coherent and purposeful individual program.

Minor Transfer Credit Policy
