TU one of five nationally to receive Dreyfus Foundation grant
Towson University received a Jean Dreyfus Lectureship for Undergraduate Institutions from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation.

Towson University was one of five 麻豆传媒 across the United States to receive a 2017 Jean Dreyfus Lectureship for Undergraduate institutions award, from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation.
The Jean Dreyfus Lectureship awards provide an $18,500 grant to bring a leading researcher to a primarily undergraduate institution to give public and technical lectures in the chemical sciences and to support two undergraduates in summer research.
The primary investigator at TU for this grant was Mary Sajini Devadas, Ph.D., and her co-PI was Keith Reber, Ph.D.. Both Reber (2016-19) and Sajini Devadas (2017-2020) are current Fisher endowed chairs.
The other four institutions to receive the award are Franklin & Marshall College, Pomona College, Providence College and Santa Clara University.

鈥淪ince its inception in 2010, the Jean Dreyfus Lectureship has provided funding for
distinguished chemists to have extended visits at undergraduate institutions throughout
the United States,鈥 said Mark J. Cardillo, executive director of The Camille and Henry
Dreyfus Foundation. 鈥淎dditionally, the award supports undergraduate research as part
of our continuing commitment to all aspects of chemistry education.鈥
The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation is a leading non-profit organization devoted
to the advancement of the chemical sciences. It was established in 1946 by chemist,
inventor and businessman Camille Dreyfus, who directed that the foundation's purpose
be "to advance the science of chemistry, chemical engineering and related sciences
as a means of improving human relations and circumstances around the world." Jean
Dreyfus was president of the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation from 1956 until
her death in 1991.
