Biography
Dr. Karne earned his M.S. from University of Wisconsin, Madison, in Electrical and Computer engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University. He worked with IBM over 15 years and earned 6 patents and published 13 technical articles. He also worked as a research scientist at Institute for Systems Research at College Park. He is a doctoral program director in the department of Computer and Information Sciences and supervised eight doctoral dissertations. He is the inventor of bare machine computing paradigm and currently working in the same area of research.
Scholarship, Creative Activity:
Received over $700K grants and worked with many industries to develop software products. Received NSF and MIPS grants. Inventor of bare machine computing and its related applications.
