Michelle Pasko has been a faculty member at Towson University since 2010. As Graduate Program Director, she coordinates the Master of Education (M. Ed.) in Special Education (certification option) as well as the Master of Arts (M.A.T.) in Special Education program. She also holds various advising roles in the Department of Special Education; she serves as First Year Experience (FYE) advisor, an advisor for EESE Majors, and the department’s advising coordinator. Michelle was awarded the Gloria A. Neubert Excellence in Teaching Award in 2017. Prior to teaching in the Special Education Department, she taught for the Elementary Education and Math departments. As a former fifth and third grade teacher in Anne Arundel County Public Schools, she also held the roles of lead math teacher, intermediate team leader, and grade group chairperson. Michelle holds PA and MD teaching certificates in the areas of elementary education, special education, ESOL, and Spanish
