Peter J. Lisman, Ph.D., ATC, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology within the College of Health Professions at Towson University. Dr. Lisman previously completed a postdoctoral research fellowship for the Human Performance Laboratory at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences where he was involved with numerous research projects focused on optimizing the health and human performance of today’s Warfighters. His present research focus is on the use of functional movement assessments to assess risk of injury in both military and athletic populations. Dr. Lisman is a certified Athletic Trainer with clinical experience working in the high school, collegiate, and industrial settings. His primary professional affiliations are with the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
