Engagement and Data Manager
Biography
Tess joined the Division of Strategic Partnerships & Applied Research in December 2018 as an engagement coordinator to support BTU-Partnerships at Work for Greater Baltimore. In 2023, her role transitioned to engagement & data manager and in this role Tess manages the BTU Database, coordinates BTU funding requests, and supports TU's economic inclusion strategy. She also supports the Division's marketing efforts and is responsible for analyzing web, social media, and email data, and implementing paid campaigns. Additionally, Tess works with other units in the Division to develop metrics and provide guidance on how to track and measure data to demonstrate and evaluate outcomes.
Prior to joining TU, Tess served as operations manager at Sports & Properties, Inc., where where she assisted with event management and recruitment, as well as consulting projects for communities and sports organizations.
EDUCATION
Tess holds an M.S. in marketing intelligence with a certificate in interactive marketing from Towson University and a B.S. in sports management from Ohio University. Tess also has certifications in Google Analytics, Google Display Ads, Google Search Ads, Google Ads Measurement, and HubSpot Inbound Marketing.
PERSONAL
Tess is an avid reader who also enjoys travelling and watching sports, especially the Baltimore Ravens and the Chicago Bears.
